Hello! My name is Robyn Hansen and this is my second year at DMCS. I am very excited for this school year to start!
Here's a little about me:
I am originally from Stillwater, Minnesota. After graduating, I attended college at MSU-Mankato to be closer to family, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Education in 2011.
After graduation, I taught preschool and prekindergarten classes for two years in Rochester, MN. Then I spent two wonderful years teaching a combined first and second grade class in Madison Lake, MN. I have truly loved teaching various age ranges, and I am very excited to start teaching at the prekindergarten level again!
I currently live in Waseca, MN and love living so close to my family. I spend most of my free time with friends and family, camping, crafting, watching movies, and exploring new areas.
I like to base my teaching off of the following quote:
"Learning is their journey, let them navigate. Push them to explore and watch them discover. Encourage their questions and allow them to struggle. Support their thinking, let them fly!"
